Become a Family Child Care Provider
The Family Child Care (FCC) office is currently seeking individuals who are nurturing and caring people to become licensed or affiliated child care providers for the children of the Sheppard and Wichita Falls community. Do you like spending time with
children? Would you like to stay home and generate an income? Do you live in base housing? Are you a child care provider registered with the state of TX and a spouse of active duty or retired military member? You can do all this as a licensed or affiliated provider. The Family Child Care office offers free training, licensing and resources to include equipment, age-appropriate toys, games, etc., to interested parties. If interested please call the FCC office at 676-2038 to register for the class.

Family Child Care Extended Duty
Do you occasionally need more child care than your current child care arrangement provide? Do you need weekend or evening care beyond your standard 50 hour child care week?The Family Child Care program offers an Extended Child Care home that is experiences, licensed, inspected and in compliance with AFI 34-276.
